Ecotone, Inc. Team

Jim is involved with just about everything at Ecotone. From wetland delineations and other site investigations, to drafting and report writing in the office, to meeting with clients and agency personnel, to supervising construction of wetland restoration projects, Jim keeps busy at Ecotone. He is Ecotone’s principal wetland ecologist and is our resident expert on Federal/State environmental issues and regulations as well as local environmental regulations. He has been dealing with natural resource regulations and assessing and restoring wetlands and upland habitats for more than 17 years. When he’s not working on a design or directing construction of a wetland restoration project, Jim can be found feeding his pet trout on his homestead in Street, Maryland, hiking the backwoods of his home State of Virginia, or playing with his four daughters.

Lance is an Environmental Scientist with Ecotone and is a jack of all trades.  Lance develops stream restoration and wetland restoration plans and specifications, oversees environmental construction projects, helps manage Ecotone's environmental restoration properties, and assists in performing wetland delineations and forest stand delineations.

And yes, thats actually Lance in the picture.  Lance enjoys fishing, fishing, and more fishing. From Harford County's secret trout streams, to captain of excursions off-shore for trophy tuna and marlin, Lance doesn't care. As long as he's wetting a line, Lance is in his element.
