Eric Chodnicki (left) joined Ecotone in September of 2013 as a Senior Environmental Scientist/Project Manager/Permitting Expert, with over 13 years of experience in wetland delineation, forest conservation act compliance, environmental permitting, and mitigation. He also brings with him 15 years of landscaping, horticulture, and nursery practices. Eric’s knowledge of the regulatory permitting process and Forest Conservation Act compliance coupled with the understanding of various counties requirements for development projects as a whole, strengthen Ecotone's design and permitting capabilities. His horticultural knowledge makes him a valuable asset to Ecotone's native plant nursery as well.
At heart, Eric is a “tree-lover” and budding ornithologist who finds great solace when racing through the woods on two-wheels (i.e. mountain biking). When Eric is not in work-mode or mountain biking, he can be found on the soccer field coaching his daughters travel soccer team. He also enjoys spending time with his two children, hiking, photography, and cooking.
